Christmas cookies!

Last night my mom and my sisters and I got together to make cookies. We tried a whole new recipe (cookies and frosting.) Here are some pictures from the project:

Naked sugar cookies!

Here are a few of the cute outfits we dressed them in!

Homemade toffee!

This afternoon, Ryker and Stavia helped me make toffee. It turned out yummy! Unfortunately, my photography skills only rival 4-year-old Ryker's... but here is our final product!

Stavia at Work

I haven't updated my blog in forever and this is not a promise that it will happen very regularly but I thought I should share a couple pictures of Stavia helping Jed at work.

She likes to help by pushing the control buttons on the flat bed.

She gets to tilt the bed up and down.

She also prefers to keep her ponytail holders in her mouth, instead of her hair...

Hard Hat Area

The other night Jed was at home with Ryker and Stavia and they built a tower. A REALLY tall tower. It looks a little dangerous with the kids up on top of the stools and no adult in sight. Of course they were closely monitored and no one was harmed in the building of this tower. I think next time they decide to do a project like this I'll get them some wood glue and maybe we can transform the tower into a CD stand?

Dress-Up Day!

The other day we had a dress-up party. We have a bunch of fun things for the kids to play around in. They end up using the clothes in combinations I would never imagine.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, I'd like to introduce me, Super Ryker Monkey Pirate"

-Ryker

Stavia wanted in on the action so she jumped into the picture too.

"And here is super Stavia (bandana tied on like a cape) cubs fan chicken"
